ABOUT US

Mr. Day Post studied in Japan, China and the UK. While living in Tokyo, Day studied Zen Keiraku Shiatsu at the Iokai Shiatsu Centre. After almost 4 years in Japan, and in order to further his studies, he attended Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Nanjing, China, for a year. He then graduated from The College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading (CICM). 

Later he studied the first two degrees of the Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki.

Day has been in private practice since 1999.

Day's interest in the Far East is deeply rooted from his life-long travel experiences and lifetime friendships. His interests include music, sports, martial arts, Asian art and culture, as well as, ancient Asian healing techniques and medicine. He has been practicing yoga for more than twenty years and more recently started practicing Tai Chi and meditation. Day speaks French, Japanese, Italian, Spanish, a little Mandarin and he is currently learning Bahasa (Melayu).

He is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and a member of the Complementary Therapists Association (CThA) . Before moving to Malaysia he was the assistant co-ordinator of the Acupuncture Research Resource Centre (ARRC) for six years and on the PR & Marketing Committee of the BAcC for eight years. He has done extensive post-graduate study in the fields of facial enhancement acupuncture, Japanese acupuncture, infertility, depression, and musculo-skeletal injuries. In the future, he will be undertaking research into the effectiveness of acupuncture for sport injuries. For some of his time in the UK, he taught an MA module for The College of Traditional Acupuncture in “The Treatment of Neurological and Orthopaedic Diseases with Acupuncture”.

Day's particular focus in this time-tested natural therapy includes the treatment of:
